Clay still decides Commission District 2: Smoak versus Edwards on November 3
Green Cove Springs is the county seat. Orange Park is not. The only Clay-only race on the live November 3 file is an open Clay County Commission District 2: Lolita Smoak (Republican) versus Leroy Edwards (Democrat). There was no August 18 primary in this seat. That pair would be wrong in Duval, Nassau, or St. Johns. Pull the style from Clay County Supervisor of Elections (clayelections.com) with your full residential address, not a 32043 / 32073 / 32065 ZIP.

Lolita Smoak (R) 4 / 18 / 17 · Grade B. On the November 3, 2026 general ballot. News4Jax answers and campaign site opened. Empty Jesus after the hunt — leftover 28 with no Jesus grid was a forbidden mid-band. Clay REC member. Constitution 18 is modest fiscal/growth. GOP 17 from opened REC plus an R-versus-D general, not a leftover Trump/DeSantis vibe stamp.
Leroy Edwards (D) 4 / 5 / 0 · Grade B. On the November 3, 2026 general ballot. News4Jax answers and site opened. Empty Jesus. Equality Florida does not name this oval, so this is not a Pride 0. Constitution 5. GOP 0 from an opened Democrat, not leftover 4. Same Christian 4 as Smoak. The Constitution and GOP bars are not the same.
What this landing will not reprint
Clay School Board Districts 1, 4, and 5 (including Ashley Hutchings Gilhousen, Gerald Beasley, Veronica Powell-Faison, Erin Skipper, Lara Libretto, Michele Hanson, Michael Rathjen) are not on the live November 3 file we quote here. The 4th Circuit unopposed groups that padded this page are not on that file either. If your PDF still prints a school-board or circuit name we do not list, the PDF governs. Statewide offices live in the interactive guide for Clay.
