Breitbart reports the Education Department said Monday it will formally strip Biden’s Title IX rewrite from the books and put back the rules from President Donald Trump’s first term with the change taking effect Tuesday. Under the final rule the department’s anti-discrimination policy recognizes sex as male or female at birth and formally removes Biden-era regulations that extended protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity to students and employees at federally funded schools. Angela notes the 2024 rules also forced schools to use transgender students’ pronouns and changed how schools handle harassment complaints before a federal court struck those rules down in January 2025 and the department told schools it would enforce the 2020 rules again. Monday’s action puts that change into the published federal regulations while schools have already been operating under the earlier rules after the last lawsuits over the Biden rewrite were dismissed in August. Education Secretary Linda McMahon said today’s rulemaking clears the Biden Administration’s illegal rewrite of Title IX from the Code of Federal Regulations and restores the commonsense language from the first Trump Administration and that the published regulations now faithfully reflect court orders and Congressional intent while reducing confusion for parents students and educational institutions. “We will continue to relentlessly champion equal opportunity for all Americans and hold accountable any school or college that violates the rights, privacy, or athletic opportunities of our women and girls,” McMahon said. The rule follows a 2025 executive order from Trump directing federal agencies to recognize only male and female as sexes when enforcing sex-discrimination law. A midterm is not male and female. A slogan is not what God made.

Being a Christian in America this week is refusing to confuse gender identity with creation and refusing to confuse a Biden rewrite with mercy for the girls who were told to share the field and the shower. Keep the truth. Keep the women and girls. And do not confuse a midterm with the Education Department putting male or female at birth back in the Title IX book.
